Our space painting!

We have been using this box in our room all year to play in and go on adventures. Today we came up with a plan on how to paint it with a space theme. It looks fantastic! We talked about what things we wanted on it and who would paint which part.

What skills are we practicing in our play choices?

Emma used ice block sticks and straws to make a boat. She practiced cutting and sticking and said that she had a bit of trouble getting the mast to stay up straight so she had to think of different ways to make it stay up.

                 What's happening in our morning activities today?

Harmony and Jonte are using their knowledge of the solar system to paint the planets.

Collage was tricky! There were only two brushes. So Rita decided that it would be a good idea if everybody glued 5 bits of paper on then gave the brush to another person.

The boys are making a supermarket delivery system. Elijah and Deyontae have loaded up their train at Pak n Save . I like the way you are creating the story together.
