            Room 5's learning walls

Our walls are how we show and share our learning. In Term 3 our learning has been about The Olympics and working in groups and teams.

We have earned Olympic values medals for showing Excellence in learning, respect for each other and our classroom, and friendship to others in our class and school.

We drew ourselves doing an Olympic sport.

Our maths has been about Geometry - shapes. We worked with a buddy to cut a square in half then rearrange them in different ways.

In writing we have been learning how to write good sentences and how to check we have used capital letters and full stops. Sometimes we check our own writing and some times a buddy checks our writing.

It's Spring!
Look at our blossom trees and daffodils.

So Rm5  changed our Bear Hunt to a Jaguar Hunt.  Here is how we described them.

Our maths problem this week is about how much fruit is in our fruit bowl. The maths learning is about counting accurately and joining sets then counting the total. We are learning how to use equipment.
You might like to work on the questions at home.
